Antisocial Desires

Based on Steven Warwick’s video work “The Antisocial Poodle” (2023) and his recently published book „Notes on Evil”, the artist talks to curator Marie-Therese Bruglacher about “antisocial desires”, expectation management and “problem solving” on an individual, social and political level. What possibilities do we have to encounter the social architecture in which we live and to question it artistically? Which individual and collective behavior patterns outplay between productivity and idleness, value and morality, pathology and health?
