meet me being private

We cordially invite you to the closing event together with the artists and music.

Architectural and social barriers between inside and outside, the public and the private, are constantly being drawn in urban space. The site–specific subject of what is probably the most intimate place to be found in public space is addressed in the exhibition meet me being private in a scenic, sculptural and graphic way.
In the historic toilet facilities of the Kunstbrücke, three artistic positions place protection and vulnerability, retreat and intimacy in a bodily and (urban) spatial context using different materials, while also looking at the socio–political dimension of such places, their conventions and power relations.

To close the exhibition, we want to take another tour through the gallery together. There will be music by john van mono and some drinks.
