MORNING MOON (Co-Navigating) is the latest performance by Stella Geppert. In this work, the artist explores the interplay of breath, movement, and sound. Bodily motion, closely linked to respiration, quite literally sets the tone – as inhalation and exhalation become audible through the playing of a harmonica.
The body is shaped from both inside and out; dissonances and harmonies, contrasts and connections render the invisible visible. MORNING MOON investigates the relationship between rhythm and the inherent musicality of communication, signs, and touch.
