Resident Artist: Christopher Sage

The fourth resident artist, Christopher Sage, developed a series of works for the exhibition inspired by graffiti in club restrooms as well as neon club posters and bootleg DJ tape covers from ’90s club culture.

Sage’s works combine disparate ideas that evolve into a compositional and harmonious spatial installation. The artistic intervention is a continuation of his abstract poetic investigation into the relationships between language and string theory.

For the opening, Christopher Sage has invited Joe Andrews who has performed with his band Raime and Moin at Berghain, among other venues. Together, they explore a range of electronic music and its influences in the form of a live radio DJ set. They will also share some anecdotes from their clubbing days together in London.
