Finissage – Last Day of the Exhibition

On the final day of the exhibition, you’ll have one last chance to visit Berlin, the Bitch and the Witch at the Kunstbrücke am Wildenbruch and experience the artistic works on display.

Drawing on Silvia Federici’s analysis of European witch hunts as an instrument of social control, the exhibition brings together artistic positions that understand magic as a method of resistance. The works question capitalist structures that shape and exhaust life in the urban environment. They turn their attention to suppressed forms of knowledge as well as to community, care, connectedness, and healing. Between fiction and reality, they open up perspectives on individual and collective strategies of survival, as well as new forms of togetherness.
